Hello, I’m Maeda from the Stroly development team.
The year 2025 has begun (and yet a month has already passed). At the beginning of every year, my mind is filled with things I want to do. It is the time of year to start something new. It is the time to start something new.
Our development team at Stroly has already begun new initiatives this year. We would like to introduce three of these initiatives that we believe will be particularly effective.
Refactoring Day
The Stroly development team runs sprints in two-week increments, and we have designated Thursday of the second week as a complete refactoring day, where we will spend a day refactoring and fixing bugs. We will do everything we can, including increasing the coverage of the test code and maintaining the test code.
mini-project
The Stroly development team used to designate Fridays as “Free Development Day,” a day when we would take a break from our daily development tasks to develop what we personally wanted to develop. New this year, we decided to make this initiative an individual “mini-project,” so that we can take more responsibility to accomplish each and every small task.
Liberalization of AI tools
The Stroly development team has been using ChatGPT in our development for about two years, but with the rise of various AI tools, we have decided to choose AI tools we want to use individually and incorporate them into our development, not limited to ChatGPT, in order to keep up with the wave of this new development style. Each member is working on development using his/her favorite tools such as ChatGPT, Cody, GitLab Duo, and so on.
As mentioned above, the Stroly development team is taking on new challenges every day, and we are now looking forward to seeing the great results that will result from this new approach at the end of 2025.
Stroly is also hiring development members, so if you are interested, please contact us.

Let me now present the contents of today’s release.
Update information for StrolyCom v9.1.0
SEO enhancements have been made to the map introduction page.
Stroly automatically generates a map introduction page for maps that are set to public.
In order to enhance the SEO of this map introduction page, we have made changes so that maps that meet the following conditions will not be registered with search engines.
Conditions under which a map introduction page will no longer be registered with search engines
If both of the following conditions are not met, the map introduction page will no longer be registered with the search engines.
- The introduction of the map is less than 100 words
- There are less than 5 spots registered on the map
This support is expected to make it easier for map introduction pages of maps with a large amount of information (heat) to be displayed at the top of search results.
If you think that you want many people to use the map, we would appreciate it if you could enhance the introduction and spot information on the map.
At Stroly, we are constantly developing new features and improving functionality to create an exciting user experience. Please continue to look forward to our release.
