Stroly Viewer v18.8.0 Released

Hello,
This is Aoki from the Stroly development team.

Recently, I’ve become really into analog tools for organizing information, especially stationery. I’ve been enjoying writing down my daily tasks and meeting notes in a notebook.

The picture shows the STAEDTLER Hexagonal Limited Edition 2 that I recently bought. Although it’s been selling for more than its original price online, I was lucky to find it at a local stationery store.

I love its solid weight and texture, and since it’s a drafting pencil, it writes really smoothly. The long tip also makes it easy to see what I’m writing, which is a great feature.

Stroly Viewer v18.8.0 Update Information

Map Rotation Now Set to OFF by Default

Previously, map rotation was enabled by default, but with this release, it is now set to OFF by default. This change was made to prevent beautifully illustrated maps from tilting when switching between maps.

If you’d like to enable map rotation, simply press the compass button at the top right of the viewer. This compass button serves as the toggle for turning the rotation feature on or off. Press it once to start rotating the map, and press it again to stop, which also resets any tilt. You can turn the rotation off for a detailed view of the map or turn it on when you need it on-site—adjusting it to suit your needs.

Additionally, you can now use the “rotate=1” parameter in the map URL to always have the rotation feature enabled.

We hope you find this feature useful!

Spot Information Can Now Be Closed by Swiping Down

Until now, you could close spot information by tapping the “✗” button at the top right. In this update, we’ve made it possible to close the spot information by swiping down on the title section.

We believe these updates will make it even more enjoyable to explore Stroly maps.

At Stroly, we are constantly developing new features and improving functionality to deliver exciting user experiences. Please look forward to future releases!
