Stroly uses location information (GPS) to show your current location on the map and search for maps near your current location, but some errors may appear when this process fails and here is how to fix them.
When the location information is not enabled on your device
If you see the message “You are not allowed to use location information”, your device or browser is not allowed to acquire location information (GPS).
How do I allow the use of location information (GPS) on my device?
When the acquisition of the current position fails / when the current position cannot be obtained within the time
GPS signal reception may not be available indoors. Please try again in a different location. Turning on Wifi or mobile network communication might also improve the situation.
When location information (GPS) deviates from the actual location
Please make sure that the setting to use accurate location information on your device is turned on.
For iOS (iPhone, iPad)
1.Open iOS Settings
2.Choose Privacy & Security > Location Services ※If the Location Services is disabled, turn it on.
3.Choose Privacy > Location Services > Safari Websites or Chrome
4.Turn on “Precise location”
For Android
1.Open Settings on Android
2.Choose Location
3.Choose Chrome
4.Turn on Use precise location”
When power saving mode is turned on
Accurate location information (GPS) may not be obtained because the device’s power saving mode is turned on.
Please turn off the power saving mode of your device and try acquiring location information (GPS) again.
For iOS (iPhone, iPad)
1.Open iOS Settings
2.Choose Battery
3.Turn off “Low Power Mode”
For Android
1.Open Settings on Android
2.Choose Battery > Battery Saver
3.Turn off “Use Battery Saver”
