You can upload images with a longest edge of up to 12,000 px. The supported file formats are JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WebP, and WebP is recommended.

The recommended image size is a file with a shortest edge of 8,000–10,000 px.

For maps with fine details or maps that cover a wide area, using a larger, higher-resolution image lets viewers zoom in further.
