This place is special to me because 2 years ago me and my husband got there for our honeymoon. It was the first time we travelled to another country, visited a museum, ate burgers, drank coffee, walked through the Hyde Park - as husband and wife.
It was the best week we could've imagined. We visited a lot of museums, ate traditional dishes, laughed a lot and simply had the best time of our life.

Border with name of all the theaters in the district. Showing the principal streets and buildings, the theaters, the parks, and the Underground Stations. It is filled with detail of a humorous character, the peculiarities of every district being happily parodied, and it forms an abundant source of amusement. </body>

Dissected into 18 section, backed with linen, folded into red covers 19x13, with title "Tallis's illustrated plan of London, 1851" embossed in gilt with gilt decorations, on front and blind stamped on back cover, same stamp as front. Map borders with 48 city views, extending to Hammersmith in the west, clockwise to Cricklewood, Hampstead, Stamford Hill, Leytonstone, Greenwich, Peckham, Battersea Rise and Parson's Green. Shows color coded boundaries of boroughs, roads, streets, city blocks, buildings, landmarks, parks and places of interest. Relief shown by hachures. Includes legend.

The SDUK, as the Society was known, produced inexpensive maps to encourage broad use in education. The maps in these two volumes were issued in parts over several years. The city plans are of particular interest, with vignettes and great detail. The gnomonic star maps were issued separately in this edition in their own covers. This is the second edition, the first being by Baldwin and Cradock, with the maps issued in numbers and later bound as a set. Rumsey Collection copy originally issued without the 6 "World on a gnomonic projection" maps; copies of them have been laid in. Atlas is bound in half leather dark brown cloth covered boards with "Maps. Vol. 1," "Maps. Vol. 2" stamped in gold on the spines. Maps with outline color; geological map of England and Wales hand colored in full color.
