Stroly viewer v11.7 and Stroly mypage v.2.8 released

Hello, this is Maeda from the Stroly development team.

The FIFA World Cup 2022 is underway in Doha, Qatar! Are you excited? The match against Croatia, where Japan’s top 8 was on the line, didn’t end even in extra time, and the match ended in a penalty shootout. Unfortunately, we lost, but it was heartwarming to see him fighting until the very end, no matter how strong the opponent was, including in the preliminary rounds. I was able to realize once again the importance of challenging seriously.

Now let’s take a look at the contents of this release.

Changes in Stroly Viewer v11.7.0

New function

Introduced a function to follow the map according to the current location

If the current location is included in the map when the GPS button is pressed, the character will be displayed at the current location. With this release, the map now follows your character according to your current location. During tracking, the color of the GPS button marker is “blue”.

If you operate on the map while following, the following will stop temporarily and only the character at the current location will move on the map. When tracking is canceled, the color of the GPS button marker is “white”.

Also, with the introduction of this function, when switching maps while GPS is running, the center of the map will move to the current location and switch, but now the center point is maintained.

Spots now display spot names

Spot names are now displayed for spots displayed on the map. Until now, you didn’t know the spot name until you opened the spot, but now you can find it without opening it.

On the free plan map, spot names are displayed for all spots. You can show/hide this spot name on the basic plan and premium plan maps.

Improvement

Made the map design brighter with a white tone

Until now, the design was based on purple, but with this release, it has been changed to a design based on white. Overall brighter, easier to see, and easier to use.

Disabled name input and character selection when entering the stamp rally map (in solo mode)

Until now, it was necessary to enter a name and select a character when entering a stamp rally map. This release leaves them out. As a result, when entering the map for the first time, an explanation screen will be opened, but from the second time onwards, you can enter directly into the map.

Stamp rally descriptions are now easier to access

You can now access the explanation screen from the information screen or the stamp rally ledger, so if you don’t understand how to use it, you can easily check it at any time.

When opening the stamp rally map in the in-app browser, a guide is now displayed to open it in a normal browser.

Since the progress of the stamp rally is saved in the browser, there was a situation where it was not saved properly in some in-app browsers. I tried to prevent that by issuing a guide.

Fixed the display of spot images displayed in the spot list

Depending on the set image, the display of the image on the spot list could be disturbed. This time, it corresponded so that any image is displayed correctly.
