You can rotate the map by tapping and rotating the smartphone screen with two fingers.There are also illustrated maps that do not have north at the top, so please try rotating them while using the map.
You can also restore the rotation state by pressing the compass button on the top right.
When the illustration map is rotated, press the compass button at the top right to return to the map open state.In this state, if you press the compass button, the illustration map will rotate with the top of the screen facing north.
If you press the compass button while the standard map is rotated, the standard map will rotate with the top of the screen facing north.

Please use it when heading to your destination.If you press the GPS button while using Maps on your smartphone, the direction your device is facing will be displayed on the map.
Rotating the map so that the direction of travel matches the orientation of your device will make it easier to see the route to your destination.

Even if you switch between an illustrated map and a standard map, the rotation state of the map will be maintained.
Please try using the illustrated map while switching from the standard map.
Illustrated maps should now be easier to use than before.
