Registering mapping points

■What is mapping?
Mapping is required to register spot information and to display the current position on the road (walking path) on an illustrated map.

First, let’s register three points.
You can complete mapping with as few as three points.
We recommend that you use five points (four corners plus the center point) for positioning each area of the map.

By setting this, Stroly can show your current location and switch between the illustrated map and standard map to see which area the illustrated map corresponds to.

Registering mapping points

1.Click “place” from the menu panel to turn it on.

2.Place the cursor on the illustrated map on the left side and click on the location where you want to enter the location information. A red dot will appear on the map.

3.Next, on the standard map on the right side, click on a location with the same latitude and longitude as the location you selected in step 2 to register it. Once registered, the same numbered marker will appear on both maps.

4.Repeat steps 2-3.

5.When you are done, click “Save” in the upper right corner, and then click “Save” from the pull-down menu.

Warning

・Save your work often!
・Mapping points won’t be saved automatically.
・The points required for alignment depend on various factors, such as the size of the map area and the detail of the roads written on it.
