My name is Allison Strine, and I’m a freelance illustrator. My work has been described as heartfelt, vibrant, and authentic. I pour my highest self into every piece, and sign with “Love, Allison Strine.”
A bit of a late bloomer, I started illustrating in 2006, and spent the next six years selling over 10,000 “LadyBirds” art pieces on Etsy and in over 100 stores nationwide. Burnout ensued and I put the paintbrush down until September, 2018 when I enrolled as a college student at Savannah College of Art and Design. With a goal of communicating love and joy in every pixel, I’m thrilled to be drawing and painting again.
FUN FACTS ABOUT ME:
I learned to ride a motorcycle at the age of 57, then rode solo across the USA. Beep beep!
My favorite place is the southernmost post office in the world, Port Lockroy in Antarctica.
I grew up in a 270 year old farmhouse north of Boston, Massachusetts. Although I’ve lived in Atlanta for 25 years, I’m still a Bostonian at heart.
The psychic told me I need to write a book. Hmmm.
I wanted to be Mary Tyler Moore when I was little. I still do.
When we named our children Ethen and Olivia, my husband and I thought thought we were the most original namers ever.
