Iseyama Grand Shrine
In 1870 when Yokohama became an important port for foreign and domestic trade, this shrine was erected as a grand deity of the city. The annual festival is held on May 15.

Heiwa Base-ball Ground

China Town
Gorgeously colored Chinese restaurants are lining the streets, dotted here and there by souvenir shops. Now some two thousand Chinese are living in this quarter. Day and night the streets are bustling with Chinese food lovers in the sound of colorful Chinese music.

Moto-machi
A unique shopping center with many stores selling hats, furniture, lace, table ware and cloth, all sensitively pursuing the world fashion. You can find there also curio shops. The remarkable number of these shops are managed by foreigners.

Noge-dori
Noge shopping center has developed around the foot of Nogeyama Hill to the back streets of Isezaki-cho dori. The center is jammed up with snug speciality-stores selling Japan's unique daily-necessaries and trinkets. Isezakicho dori
The most thriving shopping center in Yokohama, called by another pet name "Zaki". From the Yoshida-bashi Bridge, the first iron bridge in Japan, beautiful arches stand on each block up to 7 chome. Along the streets are close lining theaters, department stores, restaurants, speciality stores of various kinds and souvenir shops.

Kaigan-dori
Consulates of various countries, foreign bank and firms and hotels line the street with the Yamashita Sea-side Park on the opposite side. The rows of gingko trees are really splendid.
