How are you all spending your time amid the CORONA situation?
I have been traveling online all the time recently.
K-drama has been very popular all over the world. Just recently, Crash Landing On You topped on most viewed K-drama in Netflix worldwide. With it’s gained popularity many become interested if they really shoot the film in North Korea since the setting of the drama is in North Korea.
Today, I would like to introduce where it really happens.
I was very interested just because North Korea is not very open for tourists, therefore, it is very impossible to have the setting of the K-drama there.
-But the artists and the production really did well in making it a realistic North Korea. They even perfectly imitated the North Korean accent.
In reality, the place isn’t really filmed in North Korea but rather in Mongolia.
The following scenes were specifically filmed in September 2019.
・Scene of Seri and Captain Lee riding a train
・Scene from the broken train and a bonfire in the meadow
・Station where the train arrives
・The scene of Dan taking a taxi to visit Captain Lee
