#wishfulgetaway Sofia, Bulgaria
One of our big plans for this year was attending a friend’s wedding in Sofia, Bulgaria. I honestly never though about visiting this country, but fell in love with it while planning our trip. We had flights and reservations ready since January, and we were looking for gigs or job interviews as we would like to eventually move to Europe. When the quarantine started in March, we thought it would be over by now. In May, we had no choice and had to cancel everything. We hope we can make it next year.
