    I would recommend to visit this sites of interest in Puerto de la Cruz: -Playa Jardín is an artificial beach build out of black volcano sand and filled with palm trees  -Avenida Colón is a long, wide seafront with numerous cafes, bars, shops and hotels -Castillo San Felipe is a fortress from the 17th century situated next to Playa Jardín -Plaza del Charco is an important meeting point in the town centre with buildings from the 17th century -Jardín de aclimatación de La Orotava is a botanical garden, opened in 1788 -Loro Parque is a zoo near Puerto de la Cruz famous for its large parrot population and the biggest dolphin show in Europe

    Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the capital city of the island of Tenerife and jointly with Las Palmas one of the two capitals of the Canary Islands. The city is famous for its carnival, which is the second biggest after the carnival in Rio de Janeiro. There are a lot of museums, festivals and iconic buildings. The Auditorio de Tenerife is an emblematic building of Spanish architecture, build by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava.
