This is a digital map of the Natural and Cultural Park and Japanese Garden area of the Osaka Expo '70 Commemorative Park, which was developed on the site of the 1970 Japan World Exposition in Suita City, Osaka Prefecture.
The map displays information on sightseeing spots and facilities in the park, as well as current location using GPS, and allows you to switch between maps for a virtual sightseeing experience.

Set off on a journey of discovery with an illustrated digital map that reveals Osaka’s hidden charms!

The "Panoramic Map of Osaka City" is a bird's-eye view illustration published in 1924. It depicts the urban area of Osaka at the time from a perspective looking northeast from above Osaka Bay in the southwest. The intricate network of moats and canals, along with the town layout of the water city Osaka, is rendered in detail, vividly recording the scene on the eve of the "Great Osaka" era, featuring both the old cityscape from the Edo period and modern architecture. At the Osaka Museum of Housing and Living, visitors can experience this map enlarged approximately seven times as an illuminated floor display, allowing them to visually enjoy the city's historical transformation.

Printed on December 28, 1923 (Taishō 12), published on January 5, 1924 (Taishō 13).

"Naniwa Meisho Hitori Annai" is an old map of Osaka published during the Tenpō era of the Edo period, in the year 1830. It depicts in detail the famous sites and town divisions of the time. By comparing it with a modern panoramic map of Osaka City, one can learn about the transitions from the Edo period to the Taishō period and up to the present day.

Colored copy. Panoramic view centers on France and Germany but includes, at its borders, portions of England, France, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden and other European nations. Along the Rhine, Germany’s defensive Siegfried Line is shown. The English Channel separating England and France is shown defended by the Dover Patrol, comprised not only of ships as in WWI, but also aircraft. The map’s border is particularly striking, with images of aircraft across the top, warships across the bottom, and heavy artillery and tanks in the margins right and left. Shows rivers, mountains, landmarks, major cities and towns. Relief shown pictorially and by shadings. Includes distances.

This is Erhard Etzlaub's second printed European roadmap from 1501, the so-called Landstrassen map. It is very similar to Etzlaub's earlier Romweg map, which was the first ever printed european roadmap.

Europe North Down (1501)

Very decorative large pictorial map of Europe designed in 1946 by Pierre Herault and published in Angers by Editions Jacques Petit in 1955. The separately issued map shows the whole of Europe without national borders and it is richly illustrated by nice illustrations featuring people, flora, animals, farms, gastronomic delight of the various countries. In the top right corner, a smiling sun gives a new bright optimism to the continent after the 6 years of conflict. A very nice uncommon map.
