The coworking facility "KOCA" opened in April 2019 under the elevated tracks of the Keikyu Main Line in Kamata, serving as a hub for manufacturing startups. As a manufacturing-focused incubation facility, it is a creative hub offering coworking spaces, event spaces, and shared workshops. This area of Ota Ward, densely populated with small factories, has recently seen an influx of creators with strong design and creative abilities, forming a new manufacturing network. To maximize this situation, @Kamata Co., Ltd., which has been creating creator hubs in Kamata, including digital workshops and shared offices, took the lead in developing this facility as a coworking space with a manufacturing-centered incubation program. This facility comprises four buildings, including the main building and a shared workshop building, with a total area of approximately 470 square meters. In addition to the co-working area, it includes a shared workshop, kitchen, event space, and a semi-outdoor open space suitable for workshops and events.

Our facility hosts seminars and events related to entrepreneurship support, providing opportunities for starting a business and supporting new ways of working. We also want to actively encourage families with children to utilize our services, and have a dedicated space within the facility where they can be used with their children. In addition to entrepreneurship support, we also provide support for women returning to work after raising children and career support. We focus on creating an environment that makes it easy to start a business, while also providing opportunities to re-evaluate one's own career and offering initial support such as guidance on what kind of business can be started.
