Watanabe Bridge
Bridges
The name is said to have originated from the bridge with the same name at the current Tenjinbashi Bridge in Tenma, which was called "Watanabe-no-tsu." In 1927, the bridge transformed into a beautiful neo-renaissance arched bridge. The current bridge was built in 1966 with almost the same design as the Higo Bridge, and with the development of the surrounding business district, the bridge gradually became more modern.
