    Takarajuzan Myorakuji is a Jodo Shinshu Otani sect temple located in Kinomoto, Kinomoto-cho, Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture. It is said that it was founded during the Kenkyu era (1190-1199) in the early Kamakura period. It was originally a Shingon sect temple located in Yasui Village, Kazuno District, Yamashiro Province, but moved to its current location in 1391, and converted to the Otani sect of Shinshu sect in 1595. The temple is said to be connected to Rennyo Shonin, as there is a sermon stone on which Rennyo Shonin sits in the precincts. The main gate with a gable and tiled roof in front is a large building that contributes to the townscape, and on the right side there is a gabled roof that is not often seen, and a drum turret with a tiled roof. The main hall is large in size, with a gabled roof, tiled roof, 7 girders, and 3 front rows.
