Port Tsuruga Sightseeing City Walking Map
Tsuruga, the town where you can meet "Galaxy Express 999" and "Space Battleship Yamato"
Along the arcade on Symbol Road in front of Tsuruga Station and in Honmachi 1-chome and 2-chome, monuments of the characters from Space Battleship Yamato and Galaxy Express 999, created as part of the 100th anniversary of the opening of Tsuruga Port, have been given their own titles and represent the 'port city' and 'railway city', and are a symbol of Tsuruga City. The monuments are titled "Space Battleship Yamato" and "Galaxy Express 999".
