The beams in the atrium are made of original zelkova wood used for the Ujibashi Bridge, which was granted to the restaurant at the time of the sengu ritual transfer at Ise Jingu in 1869. The signboard on the facade also retains the original appearance of the old days; the pay desk, furnace, dish cupboard, and statues of a cat and a mouse lying on the beams all evoke nostalgia.
