A Testing Ground for New Tourism Ventures : Revitalizing Kansai through the Tourism Industry

Set off on a journey of discovery with an illustrated digital map that reveals Osaka’s hidden charms!

The "Panoramic Map of Osaka City" is a bird's-eye view illustration published in 1924. It depicts the urban area of Osaka at the time from a perspective looking northeast from above Osaka Bay in the southwest. The intricate network of moats and canals, along with the town layout of the water city Osaka, is rendered in detail, vividly recording the scene on the eve of the "Great Osaka" era, featuring both the old cityscape from the Edo period and modern architecture. At the Osaka Museum of Housing and Living, visitors can experience this map enlarged approximately seven times as an illuminated floor display, allowing them to visually enjoy the city's historical transformation.

Printed on December 28, 1923 (Taishō 12), published on January 5, 1924 (Taishō 13).

The map covers the western area from Mogoditshane, near Gaborone.
You can get off westbound buses along A12 (to Kumakwane, Thamaga, Mosopa, Kanya, Jwaneng) to visit Gabane or Mopane.
To explore each village, take a direct bus from the Gaborone Bus Rank.
Buses to Gaborone run every 15–20 minutes on A12 and A10.

I’ve never been to Australia but I’m completely fascinated with the culture, the wildlife, the landscapes and of course the food. This is a country I really want to visit one day.

At the beginning of January 2020, I went to Taipei. I'd always wanted to go since my last visit 6 years ago. I made this map just like making a magazine based on what I thought and felt there. The visuals are inspired by the variety of ZINEs I saw in Taipei bookstores, the creative products in the city, and the music I heard in Taipei. If you zoom in, it becomes an area map, access map, or even one page of a magazine. When you zoom-out, you will see the whole map that represents the city of Taipei.

Tsukuda, Chuo Ward, Tokyo. A mysterious area located at the northern end of Tsukishima. Tsukishima is known as the town of "monjayaki," but even though it's next to Tsukishima, Tsukuda does not have a single "monjayaki restaurant."

So, what should you do if you want to eat or drink in Tsukuda? I'll introduce the restaurants in Tsukuda, with my own comments as someone who has lived in Tsukuda for over 10 years.
